I did not just one, but TWO 5-10 minute jobs on the Miata this morning and it only took 12 minutes total! One of which was replacing the passenger airbag light thing with a nifty little RF outline. Take the jump to see it glow.

The glow is worth the jump no?

The other job was installing the plug and play third brake light flasher. Initial results from my drive to work have shown positive results for me - people stopped a little further back than before. Possibl y a coincidence , but happy regardless.

RF light seems cool. “PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF” doesn’ t need to be in eyesight all the time.

... they probably have one for convertibles too.

I’m quite happy with it for sure! Neat little twist that doesn’t take away from the OEM feel.

There are a bunch to pick from! He’s been custom cutting them, I think it would be easier to make a clearish blank then do a vinyl overlay. In fact, if he did that he could take custom orders for different names/words/whatever...but that’s just speculating that would work at all

This is giving me ideas of ways to improve upon the stock NB passenger airbag light.  I’m thinking removing the “OFF” from the lens and replacing it with a logo or something more fun.  I almost want to put a sticker or something over the “PASSENGER AIR BAG” indented area but I don’t want people to get confused/worried if the light’s on.

Would people even know/care about the light?

So the guy at mx5things.com 3d prints these on plastic with the black on one side then has the outline cut out. I’d think if you just did white plastic you could put a vinyl on top to get the same thing. So your case, if you could remove the color from the section with words you could easily do a decal on top

it get’s mixed reviews, but thus far I have noticed a lot less people way up on my bumper in the Miata and I am very happy about that.
